If you are a business using Facebook to stay in touch with your customers, you may have noticed your organic reach (free posting) has been steadily declining over the years. Now it seems as if the paid advertising side of Facebook is heading down a similar path.
This is to be expected though. There is only so much space available to advertise and as more businesses jump on board, demand is only going to increase.
Mark Zuckerberg, recently stated that he wanted people to spend less time on Facebook with a change in the ‘newsfeed algorithm’ tackling this. Looking at the graph below, you can see how this all plays out with impressions at an all-time low and costs at an all-time high.
